CURTAINS

It is important to select the right curtain material and style for the window. Whether it's blackout lined for a child's room or nursery, or the use of a lightweight fabric which allows light in when curtains are part or fully drawn. Using hand stitched interlined curtains can cut energy bills as well as achieving a warm, cosy feel to a room. KH Designs can also provide matching wallpaper and fabrics.

Some curtain header options are - pencil pleat, triple pleat, goblet pleat, eyelets.

ROMAN BLINDS

Roman blinds can be used as a stand alone item or compliment a fully dressed window with curtains and a pelmet.

Made to measure roman blinds can be unlined or lined in a fabric of choice dependent on effect required, blackout, combined interlining or standard lining.

The blinds are attached to the headrail with Velcro and have white draw cords to the right, are finished with a wooden acorn and a cleat is provided for cord safety.

PELMETS

Our box pelmets are made using 9mm MDF and padded with wadding. Shaped pelmets are custom made to order using a stiffened fabric called buckram, wadding and accessorised with trims, if required.

We also provide soft valance pelmets with header tape options as per curtains as well as swags and tails mounted on a board cut to required size.

CUSHIONS

Handmade cushions can be used to compliment and enhance your chosen room design. Carefully selected matching and contrasting colours and textiles can tie together the colour scheme of your soft furnishings.

Bespoke cushions can be made in various shapes and sizes, with or without trims and piping, the choice is unlimited.

TIEBACKS

As an alternative to buying shop selected tiebacks, we can make them to your requirements from either a matching fabric to your curtains or a contrasting colour to stand out and possibly match your cushions, roman blinds or pelmet material. They can be as plain or as opulent as you want them to be.
